Fire Code Friday: One Motion Egress

TGIFire Code Friday! Per NFPA 101, if locks are provided, they shall not require the use of a key, tool or effort for operation from the egress side. In the photo, the panic bars are rendered useless by the padlock. If you have any type of lock on an emergency door that requires a key, it is a huge liability.
