Tech Talk: Featuring Chad

Who better to ask about locks than the knowledgeable technicians who work on them every day? This month, we’re featuring Chad. He has 5 years of experience and is factory certified to work on numerous products, including ADA operators, Doorking Systems, and Alibi cameras and CCTV. Chad is one of our go-to technicians for electronics.

Q: What is your favorite type of lock to repair/replace? Why?
A: I like working with electrified hardware. It’s always interesting and varies from job to job.

Q: What advice would you give about home locks and why?
A: I recommend that people keep it simple. The more complicated the lock, the more likely to fail or be bypassed.

Q: What is the most memorable job you’ve completed? 
A: My most memorable job would be working overnight at a local hospital facility to install ADA operators. The client had an urgent deadline for their life safety inspection and we met that deadline.
