Tech Talk: Mark

Who better to ask about locks than the knowledgeable technicians who work on them every day? This month, we’re featuring Mark. He has 2.5 years of experience and has attended Allegion factory training to work on electronics, Von Duprin, and Schlage products.

Q: What is your favorite type of lock to repair/replace? Why?
A: I like working with Schlage hardware because it is high quality and easy to work with as a technician. Their products are also user friendly for clients.

 Q: What advice would you give about locks to help clients in their everyday lives?
A: For home locks, I recommend quality manufacturers such like Schlage. Cheap is expensive in the long run so choosing a quality lock is a good security investment.
 
Q: What is the most memorable job you’ve completed? 
A: My most memorable job was a multi-floor rekey with ICore locks. I was able to take the lead and it was a great experience.
